6 Planete Doc Review
Planete Doc Review is one of the largest documentary film festivals in Europe and the only one entirely dedicated to feature long documentary films. This year 5th edition will take place from May 11th to 20th of in Warsaw Kinoteka Cinema.
Only the world most outstanding documentaries from the last two years will be screened at the festival. The official festival selection includes pictures awarded at the most important international film festivals, Oscar nominees and works of young talented filmmakers.
Majority of films deals with issues that are at heart of interest of the United Nations Development Programme and other United Nations agencies, such as from the developing countries, consequences of armed and religious conflicts, of globalization, world income inequality, disability issues, etc. The official selection covers wide range of topics on society, politics and culture while maintaining the highest artistic standards.
