Plac Solny dates back to the 13th century and its name comes from the salt stalls that used to stand there. The square is lined with historical buildings. There is a traditional flower market, open till late at night. There is also a spire and a fountain, which are one of the favourite meeting points for the Wroclavians. From the square radiate some of the old town’s medieval streets.
