9.2	If you are going to Wroclaw be sure to stay in a hotel close to the main square. The Art Hotel is perfect in that it's just 2 two mins walk from the square. Helpfull friendly staff, Spotless clean, superb restaurant with great breakfast and top value for money if you know where to book. We booked through TravelPoland.com and got two nights for half price. Total

Thank you for asking. The Art Hotel is beautifully located and offers good service. However, though I gave preference for a "room with a nice view", I was sad to be given a room with a view on a small interior courtyard, with no view whatsoever. Room 429. Location = very good Food = good breakfast, lots of choice, but no expresso coffee, only burned coffee Service = a lot of waiters for breakfast, but not even coffee cups or napkins on the table, the customer has to everything himself. Price is expensive for standard quality offered. The location is unique, the new part of the hotel (where I was) are very plain, maybe the old part of the hotel (with old lift) offers more unique accomodation. I was disapointed. But... 8.8	The hotel was great its a pity I only had 2 nights there, I have a 28" plasma in my room which was also a bonus, the art is also in the centre of Wroclaw, next to a church which we climbed the tower, got back yesterday and have had a great stay in Poland.

The Art Hotel was in a very good location, especially as I was travelling with my elderly mother who cannot walk long distances. The hotel is full of character and the staff were very friendly & helpful. The room was small but clean. The decor looks a little tired, in need of some renovation. I stayed in the Mecure Panorama in early August 2006 and think I prefer this hotel which has large rooms and equally good service. However this hotel was too far from the Rynek for my mother to walk.
